Rewards & Consequences

Redirection

Reinforcing, Reminding, and Redirecting

 

Students will always be given the chance to be redirected into a more positive note in the classroom setting. This redirection includes but is not limited to being direct and specific, saying what to do, stating a redirection statement, follow up with action if necessary. 

 

 

Consequences

Consequences will only be administered after redirection was unsuccessful. Consequences includes but is not limited to: Having the student(s) write out a change of behavior plan, call or e-mail parents, being held after class, referring student(s) to the office.

Rewards

Rewards will be utilized several times a week either to individual students or the entire class. Rewards can include but are not limited to: extra credit points, goodies, new individual role in the classroom, free time, or extra reading time.
